Adaeze Rita Onwubiko

Founder & Director, Asaba Business Community

Adaeze Rita Onwubiko is an entrepreneurship ecosystem builder, community leader, and business visibility advocate committed to supporting the growth of entrepreneurs, startups, SMEs, and emerging brands across Nigeria.

In 2020, she founded the Asaba Business Community (ABC), a thriving entrepreneurship platform created to connect business owners, increase visibility for SMEs, foster collaboration, and create opportunities for sustainable business growth. Under her leadership, the community has grown from a small online network into a recognised ecosystem with over 25,000 Facebook community members, 12,500+ Instagram followers, and more than 1,600 entrepreneurs engaged through conferences, networking events, trade fairs, exhibitions, and business development initiatives.

Over the years, Adaeze has successfully designed and delivered flagship programmes including the Asaba Vendors Hangout, Business Culture Fest, Thrive Business Conference, ABC Trade Fair, and Asaba Vendors Exhibition, creating platforms that enable entrepreneurs to connect, learn, showcase their businesses, and access new opportunities for growth. Her work has earned recognition through media features, radio interviews, public speaking engagements, strategic partnerships, and industry awards, including the Best Online Community & Support Group of the Year Award at the Omaliving Unsung Heroes Award and Entrepreneurship Conference. She has also been invited to speak and moderate discussions at entrepreneurship, leadership, and business development events, contributing to conversations around enterprise growth, digital visibility, women's empowerment, and ecosystem development.

Beyond entrepreneurship, Adaeze is passionate about community impact and social development, leading initiatives that support vulnerable communities and promote collective action during times of need. She holds a Master's degree in International Business Management from Sheffield Hallam University, United Kingdom, and combines her academic knowledge with practical experience in project coordination, stakeholder engagement, operations, and community development to build sustainable platforms that empower people, businesses, and communities.

Through the Asaba Business Community, Adaeze continues to champion entrepreneurship, collaboration, innovation, and inclusive economic growth while creating opportunities for businesses to thrive in an increasingly connected world.
